Shipping and Turnaround Time

Your EverAfter Kit ships free to you. A padded return envelope is included for easy mailing of the ashes via USPS. At checkout, a $24.95 return shipping fee is added to cover the cost of sending the ashes back to EverAfter for the creation of the artwork. Lead time is typically 4 to 6 weeks from the date EverAfter receives your sample. Can I use ashes that have been at home for years?

Yes. Ash does not expire and can be used at any time.

How much ash is needed?

Just one teaspoon. Use the included wooden scoop to transfer the amount into the glass vessel gently.

Can I order kits for multiple pets?

Yes. Please place a separate order for each pet. Each kit arrives coded to your pet’s name and is tracked through the entire process.

Will any ashes be returned to me?

No. The one-teaspoon sample is used in the process and is fully consumed.

How long does it take?

Most orders are completed 4 to 6 weeks after EverAfter receives your sample.

Can the vet or crematorium send the ashes for me?

Yes. They can send directly, as long as the return card in the kit is completed with the pet owner’s contact information.

What happens to the ashes during the process?

The sample’s microscopic structure is imaged to create the artwork. That structure is short-lived once photographed, and the sample is respectfully consumed in the process.

Do you accept ashes from aquamation or water cremation?

Not at this time. If you are unsure which method was used, please get in touch with your crematorium for confirmation.
